The Des Plaines Community Foundation threw a Pizza Party for Maine West Building Trade Students last May 23 at the Homestead House in Des Plaines. This was to honor the students for making efforts in helping people with disabilities and seniors to be able to leave their home with less effort.
The students were also awarded a $10 gift card by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Rosemary Argus.
